Review: A Horse Box

As soon as I heard about A Horse Box, I was really excited!  The chance to get a box full of horsey goodness every month delivered right to my door?  Yes please!  A Horse Box is the first and only monthly subscription service that delivers high quality equestrian products to your door. Plans are as low as $12/month with free shipping.  Each month members receive 5-7 handpicked items from the best grooming products to gourmet treats and more.  Boxes will range anywhere from $25-$75 in retail value.

So you can imagine how thrilled I was to receive my first box!  The excitement of opening the box to see what all A Horse Box has in store for me this month.  I loved the reusable bag and cup.  The bag is perfect for trips to the barn!

Each item is packaged with care, and I loved going through the box and checking out each product.  Most of these I was unfamiliar with and I love to find out about new equestrian companies.

First things first, the supplements!  Since Taylor is in consistent dressage training, I was ecstatic to see a 30-day supple of the Majesty’s Flex Wafers.  And he loved them!  These wafers help support both joint and bone and they have some great ingredients in them.  Taylor also loved the Hilton Herbs Herbballs as his reward treat.  I love to give him treats that are all natural and these are made with all natural ingredients.  He loved them!

When you are participating in horse shows, you always need to have that special product for last minute touches or surprises!  I loved the Bio-Groom Quick Clean Waterless Shampoo for those last minute touchups.  This product will also be great in the winter time!  It has optical brightening cleaners that help remove stains.  Very easy to use and smelled great!  I was thrilled that there was a product included from Herbsmith which was the SoundHorse Herbal Liniment.  It is made from a natural herbal formula that relieves inflammation, aches, and discomfort.  This will work great for Taylor after a hard training session.  Herbsmith is a great company!  Next up is the Bardsley White Wash.  This is also an all natural shampoo that cleans and brightens light colored hair.  This worked great on Taylor’s socks!  I have plans to try it on my trainer’s Lipizzaner soon!  I loved the fresh, clean scent.  Also included was the Original Bugg Off, a poison free bug repellant.

The last item I found to be particularly interesting–a pair of socks made of Celliant from Draper Therapies.  Celliant is a fiber that has been clinically proven to help reduce pain, increase oxygen levels, and help balance body temperature.  And they’re super comfortable!  They carry products for your equine, canine, and you!  Definitely a company to learn more about.

Besides getting amazing products, you always get great discount offers!  Overall, A Horse Box is a wonderful idea and awesome company!  They work very hard to bring you new and exciting products and work to provide you with some great deals.  Their subscription service is affordable and definitely worth signing up for!  So sign up today!  You won’t be sorry and will love the surprise horsey box every month!
