I love a good technical shirt as much as the next girl for athletic activities, and I’m here to tell you I have found one of the best ones out there. The Max Compression Top from Asmar Equestrian is amazing! I know what you may be thinking…you’ve seen it on a hanger somewhere and it just didn’t grab you. It’s just another technical shirt. Wrong! This is THE technical shirt. It comes in long sleeves (I’m drooling for a short sleeve version, hint hint ha!) and is a fitted design which perfectly conforms to your body.
I paired it with black breeches and I’m ready for the barn that quick! This shirt moves with you so you won’t be restricted at all performing your barn chores or riding. This is a top that you can easily wear to the gym or go for a run. In the cool months, it will be super easy to layer this under a jacket or sweatshirt. It is designed to keep your muscles warm and wick moisture.
Let me get started on the color blocking of this top. It instantly slims you! I know some of you have been seeing these “waist whittling” dresses the celebrities have been wearing lately. Well, this is ours for equestrians! The black down the sides and on the back is super flattering, and who doesn’t love that? I will continue to sing Noel Asmar’s praises that she really understands a woman’s body and her clothes are made to fit you whether it’s a technical top or a show jacket.
I can pretty much guarantee that I will be living in this shirt as I work around the barn. It is so comfortable! If you haven’t tried one of these on yet, you definitely need to. You will love it as much as I do!
I also had the opportunity to try out their new Merino Wool socks. Wow! Are these babies super comfy and soft! They are made of the same Merino Wool as the V-Neck I recently reviewed. They are the perfect length as you can pull them over your breeches which is what I always do. They breathe which is an important detail for the summer quickly approaching, and they fit well into tall boots. I adore this color combo too!
