As Day 1 concluded in the 2012 Olympics, the US Equestrian Team found themselves in third, trailing Australia and Germany. Not bad for the first day! Karen O’Connor on Mr. Medicott leads the US riders and is in 9th place followed by Boyd Martin on Otis Barbotiere in 13th and Tianna Coudray in 18th on Ringwood Magister. Tomorrow will be Day 2 of dressage in the eventing portion. There were some gorgeous horses and rides today, and I’m sure tomorrow won’t disappoint!
